Team Bloom Wins the US Imagine Cup!

Hot on the heels of their People’s Choice win, Team Bloom yesterday took first prize in the US Imagine Cup Finals with their Xbox game, Spero: a game focused on alternative energy solutions and educating people on how to live healthier lives.

The team will now advance to the international finals in New York City, where their entry will go head to head with projects from around the globe. We wish them the best on the next leg of their journey!

Rooftop Wars, The First and Only Lesson to Screen at Chicago Latino Film Festival

Congratulations to John Otterbacher (faculty, Film & Broadcast) and Alisha Lillion and Elena Rubin (2010 Tribeca Flashpoint Academy graduates), who all have short films featured this weekend at the Chicago Latino Film Festival!

Both these short films – Rooftop Wars (co-produced by John Otterbacher) and The First and Only Lesson (crew members included 2010 Graduates Alisha Lillion and Elena Rubin) will be showing together as part of a set this weekend.
