Roslyn Alexander Visits Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy
For this week’s Jumpstart, we welcome actress Roslyn Alexander.

Roslyn Alexander was trained at Northwestern University School of Speech. Her career started as a teenager in Radio Drama. She has enjoyed a career in theatre, playing leading roles in almost all Chicago area stages, and traveling in her hit shows to New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., among others.
She has appeared in several TV episodes and films made in Chicago, the most recent a 3D feature film called “Shakey” – to be released next year. She had her own radio show from Lake County and several seasons of reading classical literature on Chicago’s fine arts station WFMT.
Roslyn is a member of the theatre’s prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress. She has, in her personal life, been an active proponent of adult education. Professionally she worked as a narrator for countless audio-visual programs for schools, colleges and the medical field, hoping always to promote the Arts in Education.
